Tips for choosing a photo
Send the original full-size image
When you send us a high-quality, full-size image, we can see all the details and colors in the photo. If you send us a small, low-resolution image, it will be blurry and pixelated when enlarged. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do to fix this in editing.

Zoom in and inspect the image
Before sending us a photo, zoom in on the image to make sure it's in focus and not blurry. Sometimes an image may look nice on a small phone screen, but when viewed on a larger screen, it may not be in focus or may have other issues.

Upload multiple images for help choosing
Our team can look at the images on a large graphics monitor to determine which one will make the best engraving.

Physical photo
If you're taking a picture of a physical photo, try taking the highest possible resolution image. Take it from different angles, in different rooms, and in different lighting to ensure you get the best shot. Check for glare spots, reflections, and shadows that can affect the quality of the photo or obscure parts of the image. If possible, consider scanning the photo or taking the photo to an office supply or mailbox store to have it scanned.
